Danny Held
Danny started his professional real estate career at Sands Investment Group where he represented private investors, REIT’s, and Institutions in the disposition and acquisition of assets. Successfully completing nearly $200M of transactional volume he realized his greatest strength was having the ability to build relationships and create solutions for clients in the need of asset allocation. This lead him to take his specific skill set to create D. Held Capital where he and his team work diligently to create win-win situations.

After graduating with honors from the University of Richmond, he embarked on a successful political career at both state and national levels. On Capitol Hill, he discovered his enjoyment in collaborating closely with constituents to address community needs. Seeking a career aligning better with his lifestyle, Logan transitioned to D. Held Capital, where he has cultivated robust professional relationships in the commercial real estate sector.

Specializing in effective communication and relationship management, he supports Private Equity Clients in Commercial Banking. Joining D. Held Capital, Connor contributes a dynamic skill set and a personalized approach, fostering relationships in Commercial Real Estate and Healthcare. Brian Payant

Brian Payant joined D. Held Capital in 2024, attracted by the firm's innovative approach to the senior healthcare sector. With nearly 15 years of experience in senior housing, Brian leads the firm’s senior housing platform, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and strategic insight. His career began at Blueprint Health Care, where he was one of the first hires, playing a pivotal role in developing the firm’s analytical processes and tools. Brian later transitioned to sales, significantly contributing to over 75% of the firm’s transactions by dollar value in his final three years.
After his time at Scarp Ridge, where he gained valuable experience in senior housing and hospitality assets, Brian founded Payant Consulting in 2021. Through his consulting firm, he advised senior housing and skilled nursing operators on asset management, portfolio acquisitions, capital management, staffing ratios, rental rates, and expense budgeting.
Earlier in his career, Brian led strategy development for Geneva Trading’s inaugural algorithmic trading division. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. A former NCAA Division I ice hockey player, Brian also played professionally in the United Hockey League.
Brian resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife and five children. In addition to his professional endeavors, he manages a portfolio of apartments and rental homes in Illinois and Wisconsin.

A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Pearse started his career in Engineering and later transitioned into Finance Recruiting and Marketing. He has a solid foundation of what goes into making a business operate at different levels. His background over the last 7 years has been developing relationships between individuals and businesses to make long-standing impacts on the bottom line.
